25/264 Receive apologies and resolve to accept reasons for absence.
It was RESLOVED to accept apologies from Cllr Br and Cllr Maggs due to work commitments.
Proposed Cllr MM, seconded Cllr MRe.
25/265 To receive declarations of interest in items on the agenda in
accordance with the requirement of the Localism Act 2011 and to
consider any applications for dispensations regarding DPI’s.
There were none declared.

25/266 To determine which items on the agenda, if any, require the exclusion of the public and press under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 1 (2) and resolve to exclude the public and press from them.
It was RESOLVED to exclude the public and press from agenda item 16. Proposed Cllr MM, Seconded Cllr MRe.
25/267 Approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on
7th January 2026.
It was RESOLVED to accept the minutes of the meeting held 7th January 2026. Proposed Cllr MRo, seconded Cllr MM. For Cllr MRe, against Cllr DF, abstain . Cllr CB.
25/268 To receive District and County Councillor report
Cty Cllr Bamford – Speeding , parking and roads ongoing issues. Pot holes put on the agenda.
Sat 30th May – Hogg Fest for all parishes.
LGR – now submitted. Consultation to take place in Feb,
Flooding issues on Tinsley Close and Redthorn Way.
Dist Cllr Woods – LGR – submitted.
Food waste bins -small caddies. Starting to deliver. Do not use yet.
Travellers site – gone to appeal – thrown out application.
Funding workshop – what funding is available – will send details to the Clerk.
SKDC - £2m grant expected from County Council.
25/269 Clerks Report and update on agreed action points
Unity – now single authoriser.
Football Foundation, they were hoping to update early this week, nothing heard as yet.
Playground Inspection – on Friday 6th Feb – Cllr MM meeting inspector to discuss after inspection.
Speaking to Replay re the Muga.
25/270 Financial Matters, as follows
a. To receive and note bank reconciliation and bank statements to
31st January 2026.

25/271 Planning – to consider the planning application detailed below
a. S25/2177 - Outline application for up to 5 dwellings with all matters reserved Farmyard At The Grove, Hough Lane, Claypole, NG23 5BW.
The Council did not object.
25/272 To receive Councillor’s reports & updates for the following;
Community Park & MUGA
Asked for Volunteers to do the bins on the field.
Signage outside MUGA – needs redoing. Item for next agenda.
Some trees may need some work on them.
Village Hall;
Closed as heating system being renewed.
Cemetery;
Email sorted out.
Update on any highway matters
No update as Cllr Maggs not present.
25/273 To discuss and agree any actions relating to the waste bins on the Community Field.
It was RESOLVED to ask SKDC for a new very large bin near car park. Review after that. Signs to be used to encourage people.

25/274 To discuss and agree actions relating to a potential Village Litter pick.
It was RESOLVED to make the event a PC event once risk assessment received, ask for PC to be acknowledged. Spend to £150. Proposed Cllr MM, Cllr Df.
25/275 To discuss and agree actions relating to lighting on the Muga.
It was RESOLVED to approve accept the quote from Xenon.. Prop Cllr MM, Seconded Cllr DF.
25/276 To discuss and agree to an inspection of the Community park pitches by Replay.
It was RESOLVED to ask Replay to inspect the pitches and to provide a report on the work required. Proposed Cllr MM, seconded Cllr DF.
25/277 To discuss and agree the recent report received in connection with the Glebe land.
It was RESOLVED to ask Richard Watkinson to have an expiatory discussion with the Diocese regarding the Glebe land. Proposed Cllr MM, Seconded Cllr DF.
Cllr Flinders left the room, 20.22 came back in 20.23.
