I hereby give you notice that a meeting of Claypole Parish Council will be held on Wednesday 4th February 2026 at 6.45 pm in the Coulby Room in the Village Hall Main Street Claypole. All members of the Council are summoned and members of the public and press are invited to attend. This meeting will be recorded for the purposes of the minutes and the recording will be destroyed once the minutes have been approved.

1. Welcome by Chairman
2. Public participation
To receive questions and comments from members of the public.
Limited to 15 mins. Please note, the entitlement to speak is only on
items on the published agenda.
3. Receive apologies and resolve to accept reasons for absence.
4. To receive declarations of interest in items on the agenda in
accordance with the requirement of the Localism Act 2011 and to
consider any applications for dispensations regarding DPI’s.
5. To determine which items on the agenda, if any, require the exclusion of the public and press under the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 1 (2) and resolve to exclude the public and press from them.
6. Approve the minutes of the Parish Council meeting held on
7th January 2026. Appx 1
7. To receive District and County Councillor report
8. Clerks Report and update on agreed action points
9. Financial Matters, as follows
a. To receive and note bank reconciliation and bank statements to Appx 2
31st January 2026.
b. To receive and note a summary detailed budget summary to Appx 3
31st January 2026.
c. To resolve to approve and make payments as per the Appx 4
February 2026 payment sheet.
10. Planning – to consider the planning application detailed below
a. S25/2177 - Outline application for up to 5 dwellings with all matters reserved Farmyard At The Grove, Hough Lane, Claypole, NG23 5BW.
11. To receive Councillor’s reports & updates for the following;
Community Park & MUGA MRe/MM
Village Hall; DF
Cemetery; MRo
Update on any highway matters AM
12. To discuss and agree any actions relating to the waste bins on the Community Field.
13. To discuss and agree actions relating to a potential Village Litter pick. Appx 5
14. To discuss and agree actions relating to lighting on the Muga. Appx 6
15. To discuss and agree to an inspection of the Community park pitches by Replay.
16. To discuss and agree the recent report received in connection with the Glebe land. Appx 7
